The Children Entertainment company SICHER was my first major client more than 25 years ago. The projects I was asked to do by its chairman have “forced” me to dive into the childhood area. From the mascot (Magus the bear) to the large-sized thematic sets created for the different children’s attractions, working for SICHER has been an honour for an illustrator.
A.D. Marathón
It makes me proud that more and more athletes in the world work out with the characters I created for the Sports Association Maratón many years ago on their shirts. A veteran club that relied on me for giving life to these characters with the aim that the elder and the youngsters put on their trainers and practice athletism.
Ulloa Óptico
How to entertain the young ones while their dads buy a pair of glasses? Or how to convince children that it’s ok not to see well? These are some of the matters I had to address when I designed a comic series for Ulloa Óptico, one of the most important optician chains in Spain. A comic in which the leading role is played by Oli-Top, the blindest hero in the whole world. The success was such that there wasn’t a single copy left for the author.
Ministerio de Educación
Achieving that youngsters stop relying that much on the internet and start turning to the press has been the target that I developed in 2008 for the Spanish Ministry of Education. A fascinating job destined to children, teachers and parents.
Otros
Coca-Cola, the City Council of Madrid, Estudios Moro and the magazines Plácet and ADN are other companies and organisms I have had the pleasure to work for as an illustrator. Sadly I lost copies of many of these projects when I moved houses.
